MINIATURE DAFFODILS AND SNOWDROPS

Dryad Nursery is a small mail-order-only nursery run by me, Anne Wright, based in Tockwith, North Yorkshire.
I have been growing and breeding miniature narcissi, snowdrops, and hepaticas for over 30 years, and am proud to have been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's highest honour for breeding work - the Reginald Cory Cup, in 2023. Many of our Dryad cultivars have also been given awards by the RHS. I am a member of the RHS Bulb Expert Group (formerly the Bulb Committee).
Everything is on a small scale though – it has to fit into my back-garden! The nursery staff consists of just myself, so things can get rather hectic, especially around June to August, when I put out my mail order list. The best times of year are October, when I finally finish repotting and can get stuck in to a massive weeding job in the rest of the garden, and then early spring, when the daffs are flowering, new seedlings appearing, and I get to meet up with friends and colleagues at the shows.
